 A medical assistant in the USA is a health professional who supports the work of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health professionals, usually in a clinic setting, performing routine clinical and administrative duties under their direct supervision, according to laws of the jurisdiction. 

A Certified Phlebotomy Technician draw and prepare blood for medical testing, transfusions or donation. Phlebotomists are trained to collect blood via venipuncture, finger pricks, or in the case of infants, heel pricks according to laws of the jurisdiction. Phlebotomists typically work in hospitals, clinics, outpatient care facilities, diagnostic laboratories and blood donation centers.

 An EKG Technician, will be able to listen to people’s heartbeats, hooking up the EKG machine to measures the electrical activity in the patient’s heart and, then takes the report to the doctor who will then discuss it with the patient.
